Biography
Fabian Leung is a composer currently based in Baltimore, Maryland. His music aims to move and immerse people, drawing inspiration from nature, as well as exploring feelings difficult to explain with words, with a motivation to connect with the listener and the performer on a personal level.
His music has been performed by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the TAK Ensemble, Ars & Sonoris, and the International Contemporary Ensemble. His music has also been recognized by organizations such as the Music Teacher’s National Association, the National Young Composer’s Challenge, and the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer’s Award. His instructors include Lane Harder, Rene Orth, and Yiming Wu.
Fabian is currently a first-year undergraduate at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University where he studies with Kevin Puts.
